Private Home Care in St Albans
St Albans-Based Personal Assistant Home Support and 24 Hour Live-In Care
Husband and wife team, Amy and Adam, know exactly what it takes to provide exceptional care.
…and they believe care should be exactly that, exceptional and that no-one should have to settle for anything less than.
Our office is based in Rickmansworth, but we cover a much wider area, extending all the way over to the Whipsnade border. Some of the key towns and villages include:
- Welwyn Garden City
- Potters Bar
Having grown and nurtured their Hub Care Support network across West-Hertfordshire, owners Amy and Adam knew they had to bring the amazing Hub Care Support services to Mid-Hertfordshire too.
Together they provide a lifeline of support to those who need it.
Amy herself has worked as a Personal Assistant (PA) with Hub Care Support, so knows just what to look for in her hand-picked network of PAs.
Each one of their PAs are personally individually vetted and QCAS accredited, so you can be certain that yourself or your loved ones are in safe and capable hands. QCAS accreditation ensures that all PA’s have achieved the necessary training, are approved to work in the UK, have vetted ID and are fully trained to work. Their training includes First Aid, Manual Handling and Food Hygiene, with many PAs having specialist training and experience.
As a local care introductory service, Amy and Adam will take their time to get to know you and your individual needs before introducing you to those in their network who can support you. You are in control of who you choose to support you, what support you receive and when. They’ll be there to support you every step of the way to ensure you’re getting the quality help you need and deserve, but ultimately, you’re in control of your care.
Support Hub PAs can provide includes; personal care, support with food preparation, eating and drinking, travelling to appointments, attending social events and so much more.
Amy has worked in the care sector for 16 years having worked in a number of different care settings.
Amy began working as a self-employed Personal Assistant with the Hub where she enjoyed the flexibility but it soon became evident that she was passionate about Hub Care Support as a business and was invited to become a member of the operations team. This was proven to be an exciting change and when the opportunity came to open a branch in West Hertfordshire in early 2022 it was an opportunity not to be missed!
Adam is Amy’s husband and supports her with the running of the West Hertfordshire branch and utilising his financial services degree which he completed in 2003.
Outside of work Adam has a keen interest in sport and likes running and between them they have 2 young children to keep them busy outside of running their branch.
