Caring roles that look a little different
Deliver the support you are happy with and have pre-agreed to provide
You may enjoy roles that include personal care, but if that’s not your thing and you still love the sound of making a difference to someone’s life and having a flexible, well-paid role, the Hub could still be for you!
As Hub visits are focused around giving value and companionship to your clients, your support may include taking clients out for coffee and cake, to lunch, to social clubs or doing a bit of shopping. Care doesn’t have to mean personal care.
A job that fits around your life with great earning potential, job satisfaction isn’t too good to be true – it’s working with the Hub!
What Hub Personal Support Assistants say about us?
“Having changed my career from a dental nurse after 18 yrs, I was nervous about firstly becoming self-employed, but also changing career. All the team at Hub Care Support have been there every step of the way and just a phone call away. They are an extremely supportive team and have given the best advice to help myself get up and running in my new career, including excellent training programs.”

Does this sound like you?
Previous experience in a support role isn’t necessary, all we ask is that:
- You have a caring, empathetic nature
- You have a conviction-free DBS (we can help you sort this, don’t worry!)
- You have the right to work in the UK
- Whilst you will be provided with all of the tools and support you could need, you understand this is a self-employed role
- You have a valid UK driving licence and access to a car is an advantage, but is not essential
- You understand that we support self-employed Personal Assistants
Personal Assistant FAQ
We receive details from service users who are looking for care; we will notify you of the opportunity and you can put your self forward if you are interested. If you are introduced to the service user you’ll then have an opportunity to speak to the client which gives you the chance to share your experiences, how you will help and get to know each other.
You can work as many hours that suit you, your family and your lifestyle.
Register your interest with us
You can register your interest by answering a few short questions here.
We frequently run “Welcome to the Hub” virtual information sessions, check out our Facebook page to see when the next one will be.
Once you have completed the short interest form, we will be in touch to arrange a call so you can meet with our friendly team who can talk you through the finer details, including why it’s so important for you to be approved by the Quality Care Approval Scheme (QCAS).
We really look forward to hearing from you and helping you create your new dream job!
