Amy, the owner of our Watford branch not only runs it with the support of her husband Adam, but prior to becoming a branch owner she worked as a Personal Support Assistant at the Buckinghamshire branch so she has first hand experience of what having good care means, and how important it is.

Support we provide
A personal support assistant is an essential lifeline for many, including young adults, vulnerable, elderly or those that need a little respite care. And if you consider a PA through Hub Care support, you will be in complete control.
We are not a care agency, we provide a service which allows you to choose the service you need, from the Personal Support Assistant that you decide.
A PA can provide support including companionship, i.e. taking individuals to the garden centre, or out for a coffee to Live-in-Care for those that are immobile, or coming towards the end of their life.
Typically a Hub Personal Assistant can help with domestic tasks, meal preparation, transportation to appointments or to do the weekly shop, as well as helping with hobbies or taking your dog for a walk.
The beauty of a Hub PA is that they will always arrive at the time agreed on the day agreed and will be there for a minimum of 1 hour! So there is no need to wait around wondering if or when they will turn up.
Also for added peace of mind, all Hub PA’s are fully trained and qualified to provide the support needed, as they must be members of QCAS and passed all the training the QCAS membership requires, which includes first aid, manual handling and food safety.

Branch Director
Amy has worked in the care sector for 16 years having worked in a number of different care settings.
Amy began working as a self-employed Personal Assistant with the Hub where she enjoyed the flexibility but it soon became evident that she was passionate about Hub Care Support as a business and was invited to become a member of the operations team. This was proven to be an exciting change and when the opportunity came to open a branch in West Hertfordshire in early 2022 it was an opportunity not to be missed!
Adam
Branch Director
Adam is Amy’s husband and supports her with the running of the West Hertfordshire branch and utilising his financial services degree which he completed in 2003.
Outside of work Adam has a keen interest in sport and likes running and between them they have 2 young children to keep them busy outside of running their branch.
