Support we provide

If you would like consistent, friendly and reliable care support then let us help.

A Personal Assistant from Hub Care Support is a dedicated support lifeline for you, a relative or friend; and they will be there at times when you need them most.

Hub PA’s are all QCAS approved, meaning they are fully insured, are eligible to work in the UK as well as passing all the necessary mandatory training provided. Training includes food hygiene, first aid and safeguarding and much more; and all PA’s must pass this before they begin their support.

The support they provide will be agreed with you during a consultation where you find out about each other, and the type of care/support you need.  Once you have met with the PA and are happy with what they can offer to help, you will agree the day and time with them; and rest assured it will always be a minimum of a 1 hour visit, so it won’t be rushed, or fitted around a busy schedule.

The support they offer is varied and can be as simple as helping you around the home with daily tasks such as emptying the dishwasher or popping the vacuum around, to taking you to do the weekly shop and helping to unpack it.  They can also provide specialist care to people who have physical disabilities, Alzheimer’s, cancer and mental health support, as well as live-in care for those who need respite or end of life care.

A Hub PA is able to provide the support you need, at a time when you need it.

Meet the Team

Roger Smith

Branch Owner

Working within the NHS for over 20 years, mainly front line as a paramedic but also primary care in GP surgeries, more recently as a medic on the East Anglia Hub Windfarms, Roger decided he wanted a change.

Knowing that home support could benefit from modernisation and a different approach, he joined Hub Care Support and opened up a branch in East Anglia in 2022.

Joyce Smith

Branch Owner

With many years of experience working in care homes, for agencies and independently in the local area, Joyce has always had a passion for the care industry and understands the ups and downs associated with it.

Feeling it was time to make a change, opening a branch of Hub Care Support with her husband has allowed her to provide support to people in the community who want to live a more independent life.
