Private Home Care in Kings Langley
Kings Langley-Based Personal Assistant Home Support and 24 Hour Live-In Care
Amy was actually a Personal Support Assistant at the Buckinghamshire branch, as well as supporting the office team there before she became the West Hertfordshire branch owner; so she really has been there, done that and got the t-shirt.
Her knowledge of the business allowed her to have a unique insight into what it means to work with us as a PA and what it means to deliver support to service users first-hand.
Areas we cover
Our office is based in Rickmansworth, but we cover a much wider area, extending all the way over to the Whipsnade border. Some of the key towns and villages include:
- Kings Langley
- Nash Mills
- Apsley and more…
Support we provide
Let Hub Care Support help you to keep your independence, or to get it back. We provide a lifeline to ensuring you maintain your independence, by helping you with some of the everyday challenges that you face.
Having a self-employed Personal Support Assistant gives you reassurance that someone is coming to help, from assisting you with your morning routine e.g. help getting out of bed, helping with washing, making some breakfast or taking your dog out for a walk; they also provide companionship support and can take you out for a coffee to your favourite coffee shop, or for a walk around the local park for some fresh air. They can even come with you to a concert if you want them to. The great thing about having a Hub PA is that they will come at the agreed time, on the agreed day so you are never left waiting and wondering when they might show up.
All Personal Support Assistants from the Hub are 100% qualified to provide the support you need, because they all must complete and pass the required training, including first aid, manual handling and food hygiene, as well as becoming a QCAS member so you know the PA you choose is fully checked and qualified to help. QCAS is the Quality Care Approval Scheme who provide in depth checks which safeguard you. Those checks include verifying their ID, checking and verifying references, making sure they have the right to work in the UK and once all checks are approved they issue them with an ID badge with a unique ID number allowing you to check their status any time.
A Hub PA can provide live-in care – caring for those who are recovering from a medical procedure, or end of life care, as well as general duties including meal preparation, ironing, personal care, assistance with hobbies such as gardening, taking to appointments and so much more.
If you are, or know someone who is looking for support, let us provide some peace of mind. Give us a call or click the button at the bottom to submit a form. We would really like to help!
Meet the Team
Amy has worked in the care sector for 16 years having worked in a number of different care settings.
Amy began working as a self-employed Personal Assistant with the Hub where she enjoyed the flexibility but it soon became evident that she was passionate about Hub Care Support as a business and was invited to become a member of the operations team. This was proven to be an exciting change and when the opportunity came to open a branch in West Hertfordshire in early 2022 it was an opportunity not to be missed!
Adam is Amy’s husband and supports her with the running of the West Hertfordshire branch and utilising his financial services degree which he completed in 2003.
Outside of work Adam has a keen interest in sport and likes running and between them they have 2 young children to keep them busy outside of running their branch.
