Private Home Care in Hemel Hempstead

Hemel Hempstead-Based Personal Assistant Home Support and 24 Hour Live-In Care

Co-owners Amy and Adam opened their branch in early 2022 but prior to that Amy worked as as Personal Support Assistant for the Hub Care Support Buckinghamshire Branch, and has worked in the care sector for most of her adult life.  Having worked as a member of the admin team, as well as being a PA gave her a valuable insight into what providing good, quality care means which is why she wanted to open her own branch with her husband and make a difference.

Areas we cover

Our office is based in Rickmansworth, but we cover a much wider area, extending all the way over to the Whipsnade border. Some of the key towns and villages include:

  • Hemel Hempstead
  • Chaulden
  • Gadenbridge
  • Piccotts End
  • Woodhill Farm
  • Adeyfield
  • Leverstock Green
  • Bennetts End
  • Corner Hall
  • Boxmoor and more…

Support we provide

A Personal Support Assistant can be an essential lifeline for people who want a little extra support without having to leave the comfort and familiarity of their own home. They can also help people stay active in their local community, from attending local fetes to helping with hobbies.

We aren’t a care agency, we are an introductory service allowing you to find your perfect PA. So, if you are you are looking for someone to help you around the home, either as a live-in carer or as a Personal Support Assistant then let us help.

A PA from Hub Care Support is a fully endorsed and qualified assistant certified through QCAS, the Quality Care Approval Scheme, meaning they are fully qualified to provide the care you need.

We want to give you control over your care needs so the PA will come at an agreed time on an agreed day as often as you need them. They can provide support for people who simply want companionship, including going to the garden centre, going to the cinema, going out for dinner at a restaurant or even going to concerts.

Many will also offer support as a live-in carer, dementia carer, respite care for people who are recovering from operations or care for individuals with disabilities.  They can also provide support to those who suffer from degenerative diseases including Cancer, MS, Parkinson’s and diabetes.

If you are looking for a little extra help around the home, let us help – put your care choices back in your hands!

Meet the Team

Amy

Branch Director

Amy has worked in the care sector for 16 years having worked in a number of different care settings.

Amy began working as a self-employed Personal Assistant with the Hub where she enjoyed the flexibility but it soon became evident that she was passionate about Hub Care Support as a business and was invited to become a member of the operations team.  This was proven to be an exciting change and when the opportunity came to open a branch in West Hertfordshire in early 2022 it was an opportunity not to be missed!

Adam

Branch Director

Adam is Amy’s husband and supports her with the running of the West Hertfordshire branch and utilising his financial services degree which he completed in 2003.

Outside of work Adam has a keen interest in sport and likes running and between them they have 2 young children to keep them busy outside of running their branch.
