Support we provide

Local support is an essential lifeline for individuals who need a little extra help or companionship whilst being able to stay in the comfort and familiarity of their own home.

At Hub Care Support, we provide an introductory service to Personal Support Assistants who are qualified and approved to take care of the elderly, vulnerable, disabled or those who need a little companionship.

All Hub Personal Support Assistants are QCAS-approved carers. QCAS, the Quality Care Approval Scheme is there to give you peace of mind. A Hub PA must be fully trained and passed all assessments including first aid and manual handling, but they must also be fully insured, have the right to work in the UK, have a conviction-free DBS and have checked references.

A Hub Care Support Personal Support Assistant can provide physical help, including help with getting washed and dressed, meal preparation, domestic tasks and can also provide emotional support and companionship. They can also provide transport to appointments or to help the service user to be actively engaged in their local community.

PA support can also be of benefit to friend or family caregivers, giving them a chance to have a break  as well as providing peace of mind that the support is still being given and that they are being taken care of.

Meet the Team

Roger Smith

Branch Owner

Working within the NHS for over 20 years, mainly front line as a paramedic but also primary care in GP surgeries, more recently as a medic on the East Anglia Hub Windfarms,  Roger decided he wanted a change.

Knowing that home support could benefit from modernisation and a different approach, he joined Hub Care Support and opened up a branch in East Anglia in 2022.,

Joyce Smith

Branch Owner

With many years of experience working in care homes, for agencies and independently in the local area, Joyce has always had a passion for the care industry and understands the ups and downs associated with it.

Feeling it was time to make a change, opening a branch of Hub Care Support with her husband has allowed her to provide support to people in the community who want to live a more independent life.
