With a background as a Personal Assistant and Paramedic, Roger and Joyce really do understand the meaning of good quality care and how important it is to daily life.
Areas we cover
Our office is based in Lowestoft, but we actually cover a large section of the East Coast including:
- Framlingham
- Dennington
- Brundish
- Laxfield
- Huntingfield and more

Support we provide
If you are looking for some extra support around the home, or socially then we can help.
The benefit of a Personal Support Assistant from Hub Care Support is that the support or care provided can be tailored to suit your exact needs, from the day or time they come, to the type of care they provide.
A Hub PA will come for a minimum of 1 hour, and in that time can help with tasks around the home such as loading the dishwasher, drying the dishes, making or preparing breakfast/lunch, some ironing, taking your dog for a walk or assisting with personal care. Not only that they can also take you to appointments or help by running errands to the bank or shop, or take you to appointments. It’s a minimum of 1 hour, so if you need more time that’s fine too!
If it’s simply companionship your after, they can also help with that! Fancy a trip to your favourite coffee shop, but want someone to come with you? Or a trip to the garden centre to help you get some new plants for your garden, they can do that too.
If you are looking for support with someone who is needing end of life care, or respite care, or someone who has a degenerative disease or mental health issue, a PA can adapt their skills and knowledge to suit your requirements.
A PA will provide quality, tailored support which fits your needs; which not only will make your life easier and allow you to enjoy continued independence, but you can also have peace of mind knowing that they are a QCAS member, and will provide quality approved care.

Meet the Team

Roger Smith
Branch Owner
Working within the NHS for over 20 years, mainly front line as a paramedic but also primary care in GP surgeries, more recently as a medic on the East Anglia Hub Windfarms, Roger decided he wanted a change.
Knowing that home support could benefit from modernisation and a different approach, he joined Hub Care Support and opened up a branch in East Anglia in 2022.

Joyce Smith
Branch Owner
With many years of experience working in care homes, for agencies and independently in the local area, Joyce has always had a passion for the care industry and understands the ups and downs associated with it.
Feeling it was time to make a change, opening a branch of Hub Care Support with her husband has allowed her to provide support to people in the community who want to live a more independent life.
