Private Home Care in Caister on Sea

Caister on Sea-Based Personal Assistant Home Support and 24 Hour Live-In Care

Branch owners Roger and his wife Joyce work together to create a unique and personal approach to finding care.

Both of them having worked in the care sector previously, they fully understand how important finding the right sort of care from the right person can be.

Areas we cover

Our office is based in Lowestoft, but we actually cover a large section of the East Coast including:

  • Caister-on-Sea
  • Newtown
  • Runham
  • Thrigby
  • Stokesby
  • Billockby
  • Clippesby
  • Rollesby
  • Scratby and more…

Support we provide

We are committed to empowering people with choice and control over the care they receive and want to keep it local to you.

We are different to agency care because the service we provide allows you to take control and choose the support you want. We know how important it is to keep your independence, to have the familiarity from your local community, and to know that your home support will come when you want them to come.

From our years of experience, we know the best way to find you the care you need is to personally speak to you; to spend time getting to know what you need and understand your requirements. We will always speak to you, and then give you the opportunity to speak to each of the PA’s we think will match to your specific needs. All that’s left for you to do is to choose the PA who you think is best suited for what you need.

We only work with PA’s who have passed and are members of QCAS, the Quality Care Approval Scheme. A Hub PA must have passed all QCAS training modules which include First Aid, Food Hygiene and Manual Handling, as well as being checked and verified that they are approved to work in the UK, have a conviction free DBS and manually have all references checked so you can rest assured you care is in safe hands.

Let a PA help you with home visits (minimum of 1 hour), which are not rushed, which allow you to get to know your carer, and who can help with things like cleaning, washing, personal care and meal preparation.  They are also able to help you stay active in your local community, as well as help you with running errands including shopping or collecting prescriptions. There is so much more they can do, so scroll down and contact us to find out more.

Meet the Team

Roger Smith

Branch Owner

Working within the NHS for over 20 years, mainly front line as a paramedic but also primary care in GP surgeries Roger decided he wanted a change.

Knowing that home support could benefit from modernisation and a different approach, he joined Hub Care Support and opened up a branch in East Anglia in 2022.

Joyce Smith

Branch Owner

With many years of experience working in care homes, for agencies and independently in the local area, Joyce has always had a passion for the care industry and understands the ups and downs associated with it.

Feeling it was time to make a change, opening a branch of Hub Care Support with her husband has allowed her to provide support to people in the community who want to live a more independent life.
