Private Home Care in Berkhamsted
Berkhamsted-Based Personal Assistant Home Support and 24 Hour Live-In Care
Husband and wife team Amy and Adam own the Berkhamsted branch, but Amy has first hand experience of working in the care industry.
Before taking the leap to open her own branch, Amy was actually a Personal Support Assistant for the Buckinghamshire branch, as well as supporting the admin teams there. During her years as a PA she learnt just what good care is and how she can make a difference. She loved knowing that at the end of the day she had helped someone. It was that which spurred her on to own her own branch, and she’s never looked back!
Areas we cover
Our office is based in Rickmansworth, but we cover a much wider area, extending all the way over to the Whipsnade border. Some of the key towns and villages include:
- Berkhamsted
- Little Gaddesden
- Dagnal
- Hudnall Common
- Great Gaddesden
- Potten End
- Bovingdon

Support we provide
If you are looking for a little extra support for either yourself or a loved one, then we can help.
Local, reliable support can be a real lifeline for anyone who needs it, from vulnerable or disabled individuals to the elderly or those looking for help while they recover from an operation.
A Hub Personal Support Assistant will come to your home, at an agreed time to make life that little bit easier. The help they provide can be anything from making or changing the bed, providing transport to appointments, help with the weekly shop and so much more.
The services a PA offers can often be a vital lifeblood in allowing the person to stay in the comfort of their own home with their own familiar surroundings and most importantly to maintain their independence.
Personal Assistants working with the Hub must be QCAS approved!
Having a QCAS accreditation means that all PA’s have passed the relevant training, are approved to work in the UK, have ID approval and are fully trained to work. Training incudes First Aid, Manual Handling and Food Hygiene so you can have complete peace of mind that you are in safe hands.
We aren’t a care agency, we are a personal introductory service for you or your family helping you to find the care you need and deserve. At Hub Care Support, we believe that good quality care can exist, so get in touch to find out more.
Meet the Team

Amy
Branch Director
Amy has worked in the care sector for 16 years having worked in a number of different care settings.
Amy began working as a self-employed Personal Assistant with the Hub where she enjoyed the flexibility but it soon became evident that she was passionate about Hub Care Support as a business and was invited to become a member of the operations team. This was proven to be an exciting change and when the opportunity came to open a branch in West Hertfordshire in early 2022 it was an opportunity not to be missed!

Adam
Branch Director
Adam is Amy’s husband and supports her with the running of the West Hertfordshire branch and utilising his financial services degree which he completed in 2003.
Outside of work Adam has a keen interest in sport and likes running and between them they have 2 young children to keep them busy outside of running their branch.
