About Us

We’re a business built on the foundations of good ethical care, founded from the heart.

We provide a free introductory service to those looking for extra support in and around the home.

The way we do things promotes choice and control over the care you receive – something we feel very passionately about.

The positive alternative to care

Over 10 years ago, our founder, Marrilyn, wanted to provide a positive alternative to care where both those receiving support and those providing support felt respected, with a sense of choice, control and independence.

She wanted to see service users receiving the quality, consistent care they deserved, as well as helping the carers themselves achieve a better work-life balance with better pay for the dedicated support they were providing. So, along came Hub Care Support.

We first started off with just a handful of Personal Support Assistants supporting their local community and now, 10+ years later are proud to have launched several local Hub branches around the UK.

Our PAs

Every Hub Personal Support Assistant is QCAS approved.

This means they:

  • Are fully trained in all Skills for Care recommended subjects (e.g. manual handling, first aid, medication, safeguarding and more!)
  • Have a conviction-free DBS
  • Are fully insured
  • Have had their references and IDs manually checked
  • Have the right to work in the UK

This means that with a Hub PA you will only ever receive care from someone who has achieved QCAS approval (every year!) and possesses all the necessary training and safety checks to allow them to do the job safely.

We love the Hub because we have the same PA each time and we chose them out of a list of PAs, so we picked the PA most suited to mine and my sister’s needs and we have now formed a friendship and trust.
