We’re a business built on the foundations of good ethical care, founded from the heart.
We provide a free introductory service to those looking for extra support in and around the home.
The way we do things promotes choice and consistency for the care you receive – something we feel very passionately about.
The positive alternative to care agencies
Since 2012, our founder, Marrilyn, wanted to provide a positive alternative to care agencies where both those receiving support and those providing support felt respected, with a sense of choice and independence.
She wanted to see service users receiving the quality, consistent care they deserved, as well as helping the carers themselves achieve a better work-life balance with better pay for the dedicated support they were providing. So, along came Hub Care Support.
We first started off with just a handful of independent Personal Support Assistants supporting their local community and now, years later are proud to have launched multiple local Hub branches around the UK.
Personal Support Assistants
Every independent Personal Support Assistant registered with Hub Care Support has been QCAS approved.
This means they:
- Are trained in 20 different Skills for Care recommended subjects (including manual handling, first aid, medication, safeguarding and more!)
- Have a conviction-free enhanced DBS
- Have insurance
- Have provided 2 character references
- Digital identity checks
- Have the right to work in the UK
Every PA introduced by the Hub has achieved QCAS approval (renewed every year!) and possesses training and safety checks.
